It all started when I found my passion in cooking and styling the dining table, that was when I started inviting friends and having the weekly family gatherings in my house, once I noticed the love I have of doing everything by my own, from cooking to styling the table to mixing several materials and patterns.
My passion always leads me to markets and souqs, there were I get lost in the beauty of handmades. Here is where the idea of Jthoor came from, which is all about food and crafts.
Jthoor's first pop-up was in January 2020, as it was only about having seasonal ingredients to serve local street food in the most favorite market in Doha - Torba Farmers Market. It is an eat and shop seasonal pop-up concept, with the idea of supporting handmade crafts.
