this wooden piece can last a lifetime if properly taken care of.

- To clean it; brush it with a little soap and warm water. rinse and dry thoroughly with clean cloth.

- Should never be submerged in water for extended periods of time.

- Never Placed in Dishwasher.

- Never place hot pots and pans or other very hot items on it as it could char and discolor.

- A few times a year or depending to your use, we recommend seasoning the surface using oil.
